About Thies Dols

I have more than 25 years of experience in regulatory, quality and food safety roles across global food, supplements, cosmetics and consumer healthcare supply chains. My work has included senior leadership positions at DSM, Johnson & Johnson, SmithKline Beecham and Forever Direct, where I led regulatory, quality and food safety functions across Europe and globally. At Forever Direct, I was responsible for regulatory product development and registration across EMEA, ensuring compliant and timely market entry.

Alongside my consultancy work, I serve as a Board Member and Treasurer of Foundation SCV, the independent foundation safeguarding the integrity and oversight of the FSSC certification system. In this role, I contribute to statutory financial governance and lead SCV’s high‑level review of the finances of Foundation FSSC, supporting transparent decision‑making and long‑term sustainability.

My approach is grounded in clarity, structured judgement and a systems‑based view of risk and compliance. I work with organisations to help them understand their obligations, strengthen their frameworks and operate with confidence.
